Session 3: G20 and Infrastructure Investment in Africa Technical Advisory LEARNING Workshop

The United Kingdom-South Africa International Economic Partnership (IEP) Programme, funded by the UK government, in collaboration with the National Treasury and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), are hosting the G20 and Infrastructure Workshop, which will take place on 27 November 2024, from 09:00 to 12:00. This is a hybrid event, and the venue will be in Pretoria.

This workshop will discuss emerging key priorities on infrastructure for Africa in the context of South Africa’s G20 presidency. There will be initial presentations by the South African G20 Presidency and experts related to the G20 report on cross border infrastructure, followed by a discussion. Emerging issues for the IWG include: Infrastructure pipeline development; Scaling sustainable infrastructure through blended finance; and, Delivering cross border infrastructure.
