Regional Collaboration: Key In Scaling Offshore Wind Across The APAC Region
GWEC is spearheading the APAC Trade and Industrial Policy Cooperation (TIPC for APAC) project to foster industrial policy coordination among Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines, and potentially Japan, South Korea and China. As part of this, GWEC is commissioning the APAC Offshore Wind Regional Cooperation Report to identify the barriers to scaling offshore wind in the region and where cross-border cooperation can have the greatest impact.
This session will share early findings from the report and bring together government, industry and multilateral development banks to explore concrete regional initiatives. Building on Singapore’s offshore wind strategy and the MoU between GWEC, Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and the Association of Singapore Marine & Offshore Industries (ASMI), the event will further promote Singapore’s role as a neutral, trusted hub for regional collaboration.
