Join the Illinois Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH), Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy at UIC, and co-sponsor La Casa Norte for a panel conversation about our recently published report, "Latine Homelessness in Illinois: Structural Drivers of Inequality."
The report analyzes the structural factors driving racial disparities in rates of Latine homelessness in Illinois, such as a lack of affordable housing, evictions, incarceration, unemployment, and healthcare access, that often push Latine residents in Illinois toward homelessness.
A panel of experts will discuss the report, its findings, and implications for the future.
Refreshments will be available.
