Before the rush of the fall semester kicks in, grab your laptop, research reading, or notebook and join the GWI for an al fresco writing session at the newly opened Rock Island Bridge. Take in the river views, catch up with fellow graduate students, and carve out a dedicated block of time to make progress on your summer projects or fall prep.

Whether you stay for an hour or the full four hours, we'd love to see you there!

• Where: Rock Island Bridge (1799 American Royal Dr, KCMO 64108; Look for the GWI table setup!)
