Grids for the Next Energy Era: Finance, Flexibility and Resilience
Tue, Nov 10, 2026, 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM
Blue Zone - Regional Climate Foundations Pavilion
The electricity grid is where climate ambition meets decisions about public spending, private investment and people’s lives. Expanding renewable energy requires more than additional infrastructure: it requires agreement on who finances it, how it is operated, whose needs it serves and how affected communities influence its development.
This session brings those choices into a regional conversation. It asks how Asia can build electricity systems that accelerate the transition away from fossil fuels while strengthening energy security, protecting affordability and creating shared economic opportunities.
