Maker Meetup: Community Art Day at the Museum!
Bring your passion, or find a new one!
Join us for the Maker Meetup: Community Art Day, a relaxed, drop-in creative space open to everyone. Whether you want to pack up a current project to work in community or to try something completely new, we have a spot waiting for you at the Maguire Art Museum!
Bring Your Own Project: Pack up your current sketchbook, knitting project, or painting and work alongside neighbors.
Fiber Arts: Join the knitting circle or try a brand-new fiber craft every month with Sisters Interacting Through Stitches.
Mixed Media: Interested in a different medium? Drop by our secondary station to experiment with a completely different craft each month like clay, printmaking, and more. February will be make-your-own paper – perfect for the Valentine in your life that loves handmade gifts/cards! This paper will need to dry overnight, after which point you can pick it up.
Explore: Walk the museum galleries to spark fresh ideas.
No strict schedules and no pressure – just show up and create!
