• Calendar Collections: Bundle several calendars into a single collection that people can subscribe to in one tap. Subscribers get every calendar in the bundle in their calendar app, and adding a calendar to the collection later flows through automatically.
• ICS Calendar Import: Import events straight from an .ics file. You get a preview of what will be created before anything is saved, and duplicate events are detected and skipped so re-importing the same file stays clean.
• RSVP Dashboard: A dedicated page for viewing and managing responses across your RSVP events, so you no longer have to open each event to see who's coming.
• Embed Calendars in an iframe: Calendars can now be embedded inline on your own site the same way single events can, with the embed code generated for you from the share screen.
• Command Palette: Press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows) to jump anywhere in the app, search your calendars and events, and run common actions without clicking through the menus.

Improvements

• Redesigned Dashboard: The dashboard now leads with performance metrics, an attention queue that surfaces what needs action, and a recent activity feed.
• Refreshed Management Pages: The calendars list, integrations page, and custom forms list have been rebuilt with search, filtering, sorting, and pagination. Custom forms can also be duplicated now.
• Advanced Event List Filtering and Sorting: Filter and sort the event list with more control to find events in busy calendars faster.
• Smoother iOS Calendar Subscribing: When subscribing from an in-app browser on iOS (like the Instagram or Facebook browser), a sheet now guides you through opening the link in Safari so the subscription completes correctly.
• Claim Events on Signup: If you created an event before making an account, signing up with Google or Microsoft now links that event to your new account automatically.

Bug Fixes

• Branded email buttons: Buttons in your branded emails now use your team's actual brand color instead of falling back to the default, so confirmations and reminders match the rest of your branding.
• We've also shipped a steady stream of fixes across iCal feeds, calendar name handling, event list display, image cleanup, and a batch of smaller papercuts throughout the app.

This release adds more flexibility for recurring events, a new way to embed events with Smart Links, and a billing quality-of-life upgrade.

Key New Features

• Reschedule a Single Occurrence: You can now move one occurrence of a recurring event to a new date or time without breaking the rest of the series. The occurrence keeps its RSVPs, public page, and short link, and subscribed calendars pick up the change automatically.
• Smart Link Embeds: Add embed=1 to any Smart Link to render the event inline in an iframe instead of redirecting, ideal for booking confirmation pages. The Smart Link URL builder now has an embed toggle and generates the iframe code for you.
• Automatic Invoice Emails: Opt in from your billing settings to have every invoice emailed to your billing address as soon as payment goes through, handy for tax records and bookkeeping.

Improvements

• Accessibility on Public Pages: Event pages and RSVP forms now have proper screen reader labels, keyboard focus states, error announcements, and button contrast that meets WCAG AA 2.1.
• Flexible Marketing Consent Fields: Consent checkboxes on registration forms can now be optional, as regulations like GDPR expect, and the checkbox text is customizable.
• Change Your RSVP From Reminder Emails: The link in reminder emails now takes attendees straight to editing their existing response.

Bug Fixes

We've also fixed location syncing for external calendars, add-to-calendar redirects, the events list view, and a batch of smaller papercuts throughout the app.

Improvements

• Better Recurring Event Editor: Sensible 10-occurrence default, an explicit choice between "ends after N occurrences" and "ends on a date," a complete preview when the rule is bounded, and a warning if the start date is in the past.
• Background Spam Protection: Automatic spam detection for events and calendars keeps public pages clean with no action needed from legitimate organizers.
• Account Security Hardening: Account deletion now requires password confirmation, magic login links are strictly single-use, external calendar imports are protected against SSRF, and we've added payload size limits.

Bug Fixes

We've also shipped a steady stream of fixes across external calendar sync, recurring series handling, the Google Calendar subscribe flow on Android, embed loading, billing edge cases, and plenty of smaller papercuts throughout the app.

  • AddEvent Compatibility: We've also added a compatible "dynamic add-to-calendar" endpoint (/api/dyn_ade). This allows existing AddEvent integrations to be pointed at AddCal with minimal changes, featuring automatic parameter mapping and click tracking.
• Bulk Event Operations: Manage schedules more efficiently with new bulk actions in the event list. You can now select multiple events to delete, tag, or move them to a different calendar in a single operation.
• Shareable RSVP Lists: Securely share attendee data with collaborators. Organizers can generate a unique, read-only URL that allows stakeholders to view the RSVP list in real-time without needing an AddCal account or dashboard access.
• Custom Favicons: Upload a custom browser tab icon for both Event Templates and Custom Domains to ensure a fully white-labeled experience.
• Smarter RSVP Summaries: Daily notifications are now automatically throttled to a weekly cadence when no new responses are received to reduce email volume.

• Clean URL Format on Custom Domains: This enhancement allows both calendar and event links on your custom domain to use clean, memorable URLs (e.g., events.example.com/PKF instead of events.example.com/c/PKF).
• Custom Domain Homepage Redirect: You can now configure a Homepage Redirect URL for your custom domain (e.g., calendar.example.com). Instead of showing a generic 404, visitors to your domain root will be sent to the specific URL you configure (or a helpful 404 if none is set).
• Improved Calendar Subscription Trigger: We've improved the subscription experience with an automatic calendar app trigger (for Apple and Outlook Desktop). If the automatic trigger fails, we now provide comprehensive manual import guides for all common calendar applications.
• Configurable External Sync Settings: Events imported from external calendars now benefit from smart configuration. We automatically apply your configured default RSVP and email reminder settings to newly imported external events, saving you manual setup time.

We've upgraded our analytics engine to provide you with more accurate and powerful insights. Our new filtering system now automatically detects and excludes bot clicks, including those from email security checkers and other services that mimic browser behavior.
